Team
Bee the Hope is led by people who know firsthand what pediatric cancer can ask of a family. The team is building a nonprofit rooted in compassion, practical service, and deep community connection.
Bee the Hope exists to reduce daily pressure on families, advocate for what they need, and create local support that feels personal, practical, and hopeful.
Founders
Lauren is a mom who has lived the realities of childhood cancer with her daughter. Bee the Hope is her way of turning pain into purpose by offering comfort, resources, and community to families who need it most.
Rich is a father, husband, and 20-year Air Force veteran whose experience during Ayla's battle refocused his life around commitment, service, and dedication.
Watching Ayla fight every day showed him what true warrior spirit looks like. It is that same spirit, strength, and support that families facing childhood cancer need from the people around them.
The old saying, "It takes a village to raise a child," has never felt more true than it does today.
At Bee the Hope, we just like to say: It takes a hive.
Bee the Hope's board helps guide governance, stewardship, and long-term accountability as the organization grows.
Volunteers help Bee the Hope show up for families through outreach, fundraising, event support, and practical service.
The heart behind Bee the Hope lives in Ayla's journey and the care her family needed along the way.
